MLK Now event, honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, took place at the historic Riverside Church in Harlem, where Dr. King gave his famous speech, "Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence,” in 1967. This event featured Filmmaker Ryan Coogler ("Black Panther"), Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Author and Journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates, Grammy-Nominated Artist J. Cole, Athlete Marshawn Lynch, New York Times Investigative Journalist and “1619 Project” Creator Nikole Hannah-Jones, Actress Naturi Naughton (“Power"), Actor Jonathan Majors (“Last Black Man in San Francisco"), Actor Anthony Ramos (“In the Heights”), Actress Dawn-Lyen Gardner ("Queen Sugar"), Black Lives Matter Co-Founder and Black Future’s Lab Founder Alicia Garza, Musician Black Thought, Actress Sydnee Washington and many more.
